The Skyline Lacrosse Club is supporting the expansion of high school lacrosse in Oakland to give more opportunity for young athletes to play this exhilarating sport. There will be boys teams and a girls team that will be based out of Oakland Tech High School. The teams are open to any high school students that are not playing on school teams. No experience is necessary.
Practices will be after school (sometime between 4:00pm and 8:00pm), February through May 2010 on Oakland Tech’s football field. Practices will be held 3-4 days a week, depending on the team. Specific details coming soon.
Boys’ games will be after school or on weekends, girls’ games will be on weekends only, March through May or June 2010. Games will be played against other Bay Area high school club and school teams who play through the NCJLA league.
Registration for the high school lacrosse teams is handled via Skyline Lacrosse Club HS through the sPortability website.
